It’s on! A new initiative for housing justice across the Bay Area
When it comes to the future of housing justice in the Bay Area, we know change is possible.
Together with many of our community partners, Urban Habitat is co-creating a region where everyone has a safe place to call home no matter what we look like or how much we earn.
As a next step in this work, we are proud to co-launch Begins with Home, a multi-year initiative to build wider support for solutions to make the region more livable and affordable for all of us.
Begins with Home is made up of neighbors across the Bay Area — renters and landlords, homeowners and people experiencing homelessness — joining together to unlock a new future for our communities where no one is left behind.
The broad-based initiative includes longtime Urban Habitat partners ACCE, Bay Rising, and PICO California, along with many others, and is led by Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California (NPH) and All Home.
We all believe a thriving Bay Area begins with home.
