Call for Presentations/Mobile Workshops: Deadline 1/19/2007
Each year the California Chapter of the American Planning Association organizes a statewide Conference to provide educational opportunities and networking for its members. These conferences are highly popular and attract planning professionals from all over, most of who work in the public and private sectors.  Next year’s conference will take place in San José September 30-October 3, 2007, with the theme of “Transforming the Urban Fabric.”

This conference presents an excellent opportunity for Social Equity Caucus members to share their deep knowledge of community planning with colleagues from other backgrounds, and to qualify for a free day’s admission to the event.  Conferences typically include practical "nuts and bolts" sessions and mobile workshops to local planning sites.  Proposals are being accepted now through January 19, 2007, and further details can be found at
