On that afternoon we'll invite the Bay Area SEC's non-profit, labor, government, business & philanthropic allies to deepen our coalition's understanding of the macro political, social, economic, & environmental forces impacting low-income people and people of color in the Bay Area.
Designed to strengthen the coalition's collective work and the campaigns of individual member organizations, we'll share promising strategies for partnering across sectors to address inequities and demonstrate publicly that a commitment to social equity in the Bay Area unites organizations across sectors and issue areas.
This event will be facilitated by Dr. Manuel Pastor, Director of the Program for Environmental and Regional Equity at USC's Center for Sustainable Cities
Confirmed speakers include:
- Jim Wunderman, President & CEO of the Bay Area Council
- Phaedra Ellis Lamkins, Executive Director of Working Partnerships USA
Stay tuned for registration details in early September!
